My Approach

Sincerity & Presence

My entire approach is based on capturing those emotions and memories - not just pretty pictures. Whenever you look back at your photos, I want you to remember exactly how you felt at the time. Like the way food makes you feel, or a certain scent reminds you of a particular time in your life.

I approach photography from the viewpoint of an artist first and foremost and shoot with the intention of how I will process the image once I get it on my computer. The mundane things might not be the "most striking" but they do have a story to tell.

FAQ

Do you travel for photoshoots?

Yes, thank you for asking! My camera, and I are always seeking the next breathtaking view and genuine connection. If you have a destination wedding or want something local, we will talk about it during your consultation.

What should we wear for our session?

Wear comfortable, well-fitting clothes in solid, muted colors or complementary tones. Focus on textures like denim or knits for depth and layering with jackets or scarves for interest. Avoid anything with distracting logos or busy patterns to keep the focus on you. I highly recommend bringing options to feel confident and capture varied looks.

How long does it take to get our photos?

Great question! It all depends on how many photos you schedule for during your session. The typical amount is 50 photos/hr which you will receive in 2-3 weeks digitally. I like to send 5+ photos to my clients within the first 24 hours after the photoshoot takes place for a little sneak peek.

Do you offer suggestions on the best location?

Yes, absolutely! I also like to visit the agreed upon location, before our scheduled photoshoot, to familiarize myself with my surroundings and spark inspiration for our project.
